Well it’s hard to know what to put first as there is so much to Blackout productions. We make our own films, we help lots of other people make their films. We’ve also produced audio dramas and with our friends at Diddy films ventured into the realm of E and I books which seem to be quite a good growing platform.
But what are we all about? We have a motto here at Blackout productions and that is ‘If we can all help each other get where we’re going then that can’t be a bad thing.’ And that what we want to do – help the wonderful creative people here in Devon get where they are going whether you are a viewer or a listener or a creative taking part in a project. Now we’re not a hire company, we have friends in North Devon who do that and we’re not a corporate video company, we have friends in Exeter for that! No, we want to tell stories. You can see some of the short films and audio dramas we’ve made in the projects pages and some of the projects that didn’t make it any further than the script stage can be found in the project box.
You’ll also find in the Thoughts on Film Section Blackout production’s founder member Alex White’s thoughts on the state of film making, hollywood and why chasing money and fame isn't a goal of Blackout Productions.
